As an eagle stirs up its nest, hovers over its young, spreading out its wings, . . . so the Lord alone led [Jacob]. —Deuteronomy 32:11-12
Moses used eagle imagery to describe God. As eagles carry their young, God carries His people (Deut. 32:11-12).
Because the Lord is watching over us, we don’t have to fear the dangers around us.

Praying for each other
When i recently met my grandparents, they said, they pray for me and for our family daily, remembering all their children, grandchildren, great grand-children and their spouses. My mom unceasingly reminds me to pray and always says i m praying for u both when we close our conversation. I count another blessing when i realize that i am a part of a prayerful family, of a big community led by faith. Prayer is our way of life. It is our daily bread and spring of life.
The most important part of family prayer is perhaps the easiest to overlook - how we hold each other up to the Lord. Even when we are not physically together, as a praying family, we want to pray for each other. In reality this means that I have a pattern of talking with the Lord about the people I love most dearly, each and every day. They become part of my very relationship with God.
Dear Lord, with Mary and Joseph, you have lived within a family;
Teach me always to appreciate the precious gift of being part of a family.
Show me ever new ways to protect and comfort those closest to me, and
Let me, each day, do something that will say ‘I love you’ without speaking the words.
But remind me also to frequently say those words.
Let me never part from any member of my family in anger.
Prompt me always to turn back without delay - to forgive, and be forgiven.
And let me see your image within each person
in my own family, and in my greater family,
Knowing that in your Kingdom, we will truly be one family,
United by your sacrifice on the cross.
Amen.

Morn Hymn
The fresh early morn, crisp air, healing sun rays revives the life in us and we bask in the sunshine of God's smile.
My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer to You, and will look up.’ Psalm 5.3
O God, inspire our morning hymn
Of love and gratitude;
Oh, bless the sacrifice we bring,
Thou Source of every good.
Touched by Thy hand of love, we wake,
And rise from sweet repose;
Thy praise shall first the silence break,
Thy peace within us flows.
Thy miracle of love so sweet
Preserved us all secure;
While helpless in unconscious sleep,
Thy presence kept us pure.
’Tis blest to rise, O Lord, and join
With nature’s minstrelsy;
To hymn Thy praise at early morn,
And offer thanks to Thee.
Sweet morning is the time to pray;
How lovely and how meet,
To send our early thoughts away
Up to the mercy seat.
The glorious sun has driven far
The mystic shades of night;
So in our souls the morning star
Hath shed His wondrous light.
